Lunch Servers: Ongoing
Serving lunch can be a great way to get to know the kids in our school. We're looking for people to volunteer their time Monday--Friday to serve lunch from 11:00 a.m.--1:00 p.m. Please sign up under the day(s) that you are available. Oct 11-16th: Scholastic Book Fair:
Once a year we offer a Scholastic Book Fair where families can purchase books for their kids as well as for the classrooms. Please sign up to help set up, take down, and work at the book sale.
October 12, 2019 9am-2pm: Fall Fair
King of Kings Lutheran Church & School come together for this community event & mini-fundraiser for classrooms & church ministries. Free admission! Kid’s activities, food, vendor & craft items available for purchase. Students & parents are encouraged to volunteer in the kitchen, Cookie Shoppe, or with kid's activities (organized by the teachers). We also need a large assortment of homemade cookies (50+ dozen) by Friday, October 12 for the Cookie Shoppe.

Oct. 24: Fall Concert Treat Sign Up:
We are blessed with many opportunities to hear our kids share their musical gifts. Twice a year we have concerts followed by a time of fellowship after the performance. Please bring a plate or tray of 12-24 treats to share. Leave your cookies, muffins, brownies, etc. on one of the tables in the gym before the concert begins. A small group of volunteers can sign up to organize the yummy treats along with the beverages so it is ready for our connecting time immediately following the concert.
Nov. 26: Christmas Tree Set Up:
We are looking for four people to work together to set up the Christmas tree in the school hallway near the vending machines. Families are encouraged to sign up for this opportunity.
Jan. 7: Christmas Tree Take Down:
We are looking for four people to work together to take down up the Christmas tree in the school hallway near the vending machines. Families are encouraged to sign up for this opportunity.
Jan. 25: Winter Jubilee:
This is an enrollment kick-off event hosted by KOK for the church, school, and outside families, primarily hosted for grades PK-5th. There are crafts, snacks, and many different activities hosted throughout the school. The event ends with a lunch.
Jan. 27: Monday of National Lutheran Schools Week:
This is a collaborative celebration for other Lutheran schools and to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week. This event calls for many volunteers to help with activities in the gym, as well as other activities throughout our building, serving as hosts, and accompanying our students through their activities. Sign up for one of the various roles we need to make this day a great day of fun!
March 7: Wine in the Woods:
This is our primary fundraiser each school year. We need many hands to make light work. Please sign up for any of the following teams: donations, event preparation, and help during the event.
April 1-5: Spring Art Fundraiser:
Our kids become the artists for blank greeting cards which families and friends of our school and church community can purchase. A portion of the greeting card money goes towards art supplies. Sign up if you want to help make this simple but fruitful fundraiser a reality. The actual times we need help will be contingent on the classrooms that request help. We can connect about what works for each volunteer.
May 9 & 10: Book Swap:
Reusing, sharing, giving, and learning!!! Students will go to the Jerusalem room with their teacher to pick out new-to-them books! Bring in any gently worn book to donate! For every two books donated, your child will be able to pick one book. Volunteers needed to set up (the after school), help kids pick out their books, and clean up the book swap.

Every student and family is welcome to join in a final picnic together. Simply rsvp the number in your family eating. A free will offering will be taken at the picnic. Sign up to help set up, serve, and clean up.
